The Eden
The Eden CLHF is a licensed Congregate Living Health Facility in Long Beach, CA. Our facility provides inpatient care from basic services such as medical supervision, 24-hour skilled nursing and supportive care, pharmacy, dietary, social, recreational to a more specialized care for persons who are mentally alert but physically disabled and maybe ventilator dependent.


About Us
Our CLHF provides exceptional nursing care on a recurring intermittent,
extended or continuous basis. We provide a higher level of care than a skilled nursing facility.

Services

Physician services
Comprehensive medical care provided by licensed physicians, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of health conditions.
• Clinical Assessment: In-depth evaluations and examinations.
• Diagnosis: Identification of health issues through tests and exams.
• Treatment Plans: Development of individualized care strategies.
24-Hour Skilled Nursing Services
Continuous nursing care available around the clock for patients requiring ongoing medical attention
• Patient Monitoring: Regular assessment of vital signs and overall health.
• Medication Administration: Timely delivery of prescribed medications
• Personal Care: Assistance with daily living activities (e.g., bathing grooming).
Hospice services/ Terminally ill
Specialized care for individuals with terminal illnesses, focusing on comfort, quality of life, and support for patients and their families
• Pain Management: Effective control of pain and other distressing symptoms.
• Emotional and Spiritual Support: Counseling and resources for patients and families
Dietary Services
Nutritional support and counseling services designed to meet the dietary needs of patients
• Assessment: Evaluation of individual dietary needs and restrictions
• Meal Planning: Development of customized meal plans to meet health goals.
• Education: Teaching patients about nutrition, dietary choices, and healthy eating habits.
Rehab Services
Speech/Swallow Therapy (Speech- Language Pathology)
A therapy that addresses communication disorders and swallowing difficulties.
• Improve speech clarity, language skills, and communication abilities
• Assist individuals with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
• Enhance social communication skills.
Occupational Therapy
A form of therapy focused on helping individuals develop, recover or maintain daily living and work skills
• Improve the ability to perform daily activities (e.g., self-care, work tasks).
• Enhance cognitive, physical, and sensory skills.
• Adapt the environment to better suit the individual's needs
• Promote independence and quality of life.



Oxygen therapy
Services that provide supplemental oxygen to patients with respiratory issues to maintain adequate oxygen levels.
• Oxygen Therapy: Use of oxygen concentrators, tanks, or liquid oxygen systems
• Monitoring: Regular assessment of oxygen saturation levels using pulse oximetry.
• Education: Guidance on safe usage and equipment handling

IV therapy
Administration of fluids, medications, or nutrients directly into the bloodstream via an intravenous line
• Fluid Therapy: Hydration and electrolyte balance
• Medication Administration: Delivery of antibiotics, pain management, chemotherapy, etc.
• Nutritional Support: Total parenteral nutrition (TPN) for patients unable to eat.

Respiratory therapy
A branch of rehabilitation that helps individuals improve their physical function, mobility, and quality of life through movement and exercise
• Alleviate pain and discomfort
• Enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Prevent or recover from injuries and surgeries
• Improve balance and postural alignment.
